Canyon de Chelly National Monument

Two pillars stand in the middle of the canyon.

Navajo still live in Canyon de Chelly, and it has been inhabited for over 5,000 years. There is only one public trail, but private tours with Navajo guides are available. You can drive the north and south rims and take in the scenery.
