“State parks” aren’t the only state parks listed on The ParksBase. We include state parks, state forests, state wildlife management areas (some states call them state game lands), state historic sites, and even some picnic areas along the sides of highways.
Visiting all the state parks in the country will take a long time, if I can even do it. So if you would like to help me build up my database of state parks, or any other parks, please visit the Post a Park page.
Clicking on a state will take you to the state parks page for that state. There you can see state and national parks, zoos and botanical gardens for that state. If you zoom in further from there, you can see all the parks for each county.
