Capulin Volcano National Monument
The road winding around Capulin Volcano National Monument provides views for miles all the way around. More volcanoes are nearby, and four states can be seen from the top.
The area around the volcano has been traveled by humans for as much as 10,000 years. From hunting grounds to trade routes to military paths, the volcano has seen an abundance of human activity.
