Montezuma’s Castle National Monument

dwellings in the side of the cliff

I looked at Montezuma’s Castle, and all I could think was “wow!” One of the best preserved cliff dwellings in North America is built into the cliff about halfway up. How did they get up to it? For some reason, I never asked the question. I’m pretty sure they were just really good rock climbers.
