Shenandoah National Park
The center of Shenandoah National Park is Skyline Drive which runs along a mountain ridge in Virginia paralleling Interstate 81. Hiking trails run off on either side, generally perpendicular to Skyline Drive. Thus, the trails tend not to be very flat. Don’t worry, though, if you’re looking for easy trails, there are some, as well as some great views from the road itself.
