Wildwood Park, Dauphin County, PA

Even though it is in the city of Harrisburg, Wildwood Park is a natural setting and home to a plethora of wildlife. I’ve been there several times, and I always walk part of the trail with deer not far off beside me. It is also a favorite among bird watchers, as the lake attracts a variety of species. The nearby Susquehanna River is a minor flyway for migrating birds.
