Glacier National Park
The glaciers are melting.
Glacier National Park in Flathead and Glacier Counties, Montana has amazingly beautiful scenery. Snowy mountains and pristine lakes make Glacier a site worth seeing. The park has two sides, east and west, with Going-to-the-Sun Road in between them.
If you are at all nervous about heights, I do not recommend Going-to-the-Sun Road. It is narrow and has sheer cliffs on the south side, and I was sure someone was going to fall off the side of the road. I was okay going from east to west, but I would not even consider taking it from west to east!
